“Au Litho”– a dream for seven voices and a light. An experimental piece conceived and directed by Peter Sturm. Before dawn in the Egyptian town of Rhakotis, as Elohim sleeps the characters in his dream intermingle with the different sounds welling up from the streets below. Using the mêlée of different languages of a cosmopolitan city, the actors speak in the darkness punctuated by bursts of light as they create a series of tableaux. The piece is a sensory experience conjuring up a semi-conscious dream state. Cast: Siro Carraro, Evelyne Celerian, Will Huggins, Abbas Kazerounian, Dominic Letts.
